The mineral selenite allowing light to pass through it seamlessly parallels how deep bass tones enhance a deeper state of consciousness. It can be felt as well as heard — stabilizing the energy of a space by providing a solid foundation upon which other sounds can build and interact with one another.
It can be found “”twinned”” in nature as if always longing/searching for “the other”. At the same time, it can grow individually, as if its organic intelligence embodies deep values of both collectivity and empowerment.
For the first edition we’ve invited Macrosoft (AT). In Macrosoft’s selection, complexity dances with minimalist grace. Seamlessly blending genres and styles, she navigates through the night heavily influenced by IDM’s whispered secrets, broken beats and bass’s heavy throb.
Macrosoft has taken her skilful mixing to the airwaves and captivated audiences across Europe (Tresor, OHM, Oxi, Blitz Club). Currently based in Vienna, she is also co-founder of the experimental bass event series xenial (Berlin).

She will be accompanied by IRRENAFFORD (UA) – a multi-faceted producer and DJ hailing from Ukraine, currently residing in Bratislava, by silver pearl (NL/SK) oscillating between Amsterdam and Bratislava and by Microchic who’ll throw soft kicks and punches in a b2b with Aida (CZ).

Selenite is a new inclusive* event series co-curated by silver pearl & Microchic that brings together sounds that we miss hearing more in our area and celebrates the unique sound of each DJ.
